Today we say farewell our love until we meet again,
for you have gone to heaven to be free of woes and pain.

The angels saw you suffering, it was time to set you free.
You are our love, our life, our everything and that will always be.


We gather here to say goodbye and ask our Lord above
to take you in his warm embrace and shower you with love.

We wish you could have stayed with us, but we know you had to go.
Our love for you will never end, for how we love you so.


We love you so and always will and we will always hold you dear,
and although we cannot hold you close we will always feel you near.

We will remember all your kisses and your kind and loving touch,
and will never doubt how much you cared, we love you very much.


We will recount the happy memories to try and stem the tears,
and give thanks for all the blessings that we had throughout the years.

We thank you for the love you gave and remember you with pride
and will recall the love we have for you, to feel you by our side.
